Contemporary Dance Music Vol. 2 is a new 14 track CD of inspirational piano & percussion music by DNA dance & music director, Michael Price & rising young jazz star, Robert Taggart. Michael has pioneered innovative education work in dance & music - for example, 'The Marvellous Molecule' dance, music & science project which was performed in over 30 schools. He is currently working on music for 'The Avengers' & 'Lethal Weapon 4'. This particular album is for dancing, teaching & listening to. It includes short piano tracks for gentle warm ups, isolations, feet work, deep stretches, travelling, twists, glisses & plies. Longer tracks include piano & programmed music in different time sequences. The accompanying CD sleeve includes track time, suggested class movement and time signature information. It has been digitally recorded on state of the art equipment and performed on a Steinway concert grand piano.

The overall feel of the CD is on of quality, mellowness and sensitivity probably more suited to older students in contemporary/creative/free dance classes. Michael Price intends to build up a catalogue of music suitable for teachers of dance.
